The 50th anniversary show was held on Friday May 8th at Seaton Delaval Arts Centre with an audience of over 120 people.

Ticket entry included a buffet snack at half time and an assortment of 14 videos were shown.

On behalf of the Institute of Amateur Cinematographers (I.A.C.), please pass on to all members of Tynemouth Video Group our congratulations on completing 50 years of successful film-making together.

A lot of film and tape has passed through the gate since the 1958/9 season when you were first founded. First as a cine group, then as the Cine and Video Group. Here's to another half century at Camera House. You're so lucky to have a permanent home, some clubs seem to more removals than Pickfords.

Enjoy your evening of nostalgia and then on to the next stages of the epic journey that will be the future of the Tynemouth Video Group.
